This page explains how TanksConnected handles reports, moderation actions, chat pauses, blocks, and safety reviews.
Chat reports are saved into the support and moderation system. Depending on the situation, TanksConnected may temporarily pause the reported user’s chat access, remove them from public chat, or log the report for later review.
Some short-term safety actions may happen automatically. These are intended to calm the situation and protect users while a moderator reviews the report. Automated actions do not always mean the reported user has been permanently found at fault.
Users can hide messages from another user using the block option in chat. In some repeated-report situations, the site may automatically hide the reported user from the reporter’s chat view to reduce further conflict while moderation review is pending.
Private messages are not actively monitored by default. However, reported, flagged, or safety-relevant private messages may be reviewed where needed for moderation, security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
Reports should be made in good faith. Repeated false, malicious, or abusive reports may lead to action against the reporting account.
Moderation decisions may consider report history, user behaviour, message content, safety risk, and previous warnings or restrictions. TanksConnected may change, extend, reduce, or remove moderation actions after review.
TanksConnected is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services or safeguarding authority in your area.
