Allowed use

• Create and manage aquarium tank profiles.
• Share fishkeeping knowledge, questions, and aquarium-related discussion.
• Use forums, chat, private messages, and site tools in good faith.
• Report issues, safety concerns, bugs, or rule-breaking content.

You must not

• Use the site for harassment, abuse, threats, hate, scams, spam, or illegal activity.
• Upload or share harmful, explicit, stolen, misleading, or privacy-invasive content.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or features you are not authorised to use.
• Probe, attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the site or its services.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools in a way that damages, disrupts, or abuses the site.
• Bypass bans, mutes, account restrictions, moderation systems, or safety controls.
• Impersonate another user, staff member, moderator, bot, or service.

Security and abuse prevention

TanksConnected may use rate limits, spam controls, account age checks, email verification, moderation logs, chat pauses, blocks, and other safeguards to protect the site and its users.

Consequences

If you break this policy, TanksConnected may remove content, pause chat access, restrict features, suspend or close an account, or take other reasonable action to protect users and the site.
